8-15-2025 Milersylvania state park

Raining on the drive down.  Traffic very slow. Almost 3 hours to make what should be an hour and a half.  Pizza in the oven.  The oven does a terrible job with pizza.  Need to get a small pizza pan or stone.

Walked the west loop behind the retreat center.  It’s nice back there.  Rained off and on.  The rain must have scared off a lot of campers.  We booked this last minute opening last week and there was nothing open.  Many sites near us were empty.

Drove home through Tenino, Yelm, and Roy.  It’s a little longer of a drive, but no stop and go traffic like on the freeway.  1.5 hours to get home.
