6-15-2024 Penrose Point State Park

Shelly got a pull behind camper so we invited her to come over on this easy drive for her milk run.  Good looking camper.  25 feet, 2 years old.  

It rained off and on and was a bit on the cool side.  Walked out to the peninsula and poked at crabs and other wildlife.  I got a cell booster and set it up.  The signal here is pretty good so I’m uncertain how effective it is.  Took a bit of messing around to get the directional antenna and inside repeater to stop interfering with each other.  I will get a second set of outside mounting brackets and install them in the rear corners of the camper so I have more choice in where I can out the mast depending on which way I need to point the antenna.  

We have only camped here in the shoulder season when it’s mostly empty.  It’s not exactly crowded, but it’s pretty noisy.  Still, it’s pretty decent camping
