11-26-2016 Margarett McKinney Campground in the Capitol State Forest

Another over nighter.  I had to work Friday after Thanksgiving.  Pointless and demoralizing.  We wanted to get out on Friday but I was tired and felt like crap.  Also, there's 100% chance of rain all weekend and I'm not sure how the boys will be cooped up in the camper all weekend.  Managed to get out Saturday late morning.  Still feel like crap but I suppose I can feel like crap camping just the same as staying home.

It's raining pretty hard. No leaks detected yet, but the condensation is pretty thick. The place is set up for horses.  Large camp sites with corals and troughs for the livestock, and wide trails.  Camping is free as well.  I wonder what the back story is on that.  There's a limit of 10 days per year, but that shouldn't be an issue for us.
