Camping with David. We pulled in about 6:30. Just in time for the sun to be fully down. Backing up is a problem after dark. I bought bright backup lights, but haven’t hooked them up. Mostly because I don’t want to mount them to the pickup. I need to make a wiring harness and figure out how to hook them into the camper pigtail. I should make some brackets to make mounting them to the camper better.
Fuel economy is still not great, better than the Ford though. Got about 11MPG on the way here. Traffic was slow and terrible. The first real rain we’ve had in 4 months and there were many accidents on the way here. It was lightly raining and everyone was doing 10 under the speed limit.
We are working out the plan for next years camping. We will need to make reservations pretty much everywhere we want to go. The family camp in the summer is becoming more challenging. Everyone wants to do something slightly different. Looks like we will be doing some Oregon coast camping. It will be nice to see that area again.
