Took half the day off to get an early start before traffic got bad. Traffic was still bad. Our first stay here. They have cabins right on the lake in prime spots. This loop has paved pads and most are somewhat level. It’s raining here, and snowing not too much farther up in the foothills. Cold too.

Walked the loops before lunch. The loop nearest the entrance has full hookups. The sites are not particularly level though. One side is right on the lake and some sites have great access and views. There was a stiff and very cold wind coming off the lake. The lower loop is also near the lake and has no hookups. They are all fairly level.
Saw a Doe and her two fawns walk through our camp. They seems unconcerned.

It’s been very cold at night. Mid to low 30’s. Lots of rain day and night. We have been able to get out in between squalls, but it’s very wet. Condensation has been a bigger issue that we’ve seen before. Especially in the bathroom. I’ve been running the portable electric heater and it’s keeping us very comfortable. I open the vents a little and run the fan over the bed and that helps with condensation. I also turned on the fan in the bathroom to try and pull some of the moisture out. I may need to keep the bathroom door open a few inches at night when its this cold.
I didn’t forget any equipment or accessories this first time out. I did forget several food items I had planned on using for lunches and dinners. It’s a good thing the pantry is over packed.
