5-23-2025 Luby Bay

Took the day off and left early.  Stopped and had a look at grandma and now grandpa’s gravesite.  Made it up to the lake by 6pm.  Stopped at the Tamrak to get fuel and ice cream.  Gas was $3.30. It’s $4.00 in Spokane and $5.00 in Seattle.  

Mom and dad stayed at Hills Friday and Saturday.  Hung out at the campsite.

Low 70’s sunny and warm.  Hung out at the beach for a couple hours.  I smoked a leg of lamb for dinner.  Was really good.

High 70’s and hot.  Walked down to Hills for some exercise and a drink.  Grilled hamburgers on the campfire.

Left by 7am.  Still took 8 hours in traffic to get home.  With Grandpa gone, and mom and dad moving to the west side to be near the rest of us I’m not sure when we will get back to the lake.  I sure do like it up there.
