10-17-2025 Grayland State Park

Just me and the boys this trip.  Lorena is in Oregon.  Her dad is in the hospital with pneumonia And some sort of cardiac event.  Took the day off work and they boys took a ‘mental health’ day from school.  (Apparently that’s a thing).  Got in at a reasonable time, made dinner, and spent the evening at Jenny’s fire.  Shelly is camping in their yurt site.

Took a walk on the beach.  The surf is up and really pounding the beach.  Went into town and had fish and chips.  There were a couple dozen seals lounging on one of the docks in the harbor and barking loudly.  Roasted marinated chicken thighs over the fire.      Raining of and on.  Pretty wet actually.

Very wet.  Packed up, helped everyone else pack some.  Got out a bit early.
